The charity song "We Are the World" is back.
To raise money for quake-ravaged Haiti, more than 70 renowned singers have recorded a new version of the song.
The recording was arranged by Lionel Richie, who wrote the song 25 years ago with the late Michael Jackson to fund hunger relief in Africa. "We Are the World" became a global hit, raising more than 30 million dollars.
Celine Dion, Natalie Cole and other singers took part in the recording session on Monday night at the same Los Angeles studio where the original was made. Dion says she wants to use her voice to do all she can to help quake survivors.
In Haiti, at least 170,000 deaths have been confirmed since last month's earthquake. Food and water remain in short supply for the estimated three million survivors.
